Justin was born and raised in Sayre, Oklahoma, where he grew up spending every minute he could with his grandpa on the farm. They raised cotton, wheat, hay and cattle, and Justin continues to work the same land today. Never a big farmer, his grandpa was always a good farmer, and he has tried his best to follow in his footsteps.
Through the years, Justin has supplemented his farming habit with various jobs, and those have given him the experience to thrive with AgDefense Risk Management. From working on large farming operations to working with a New Holland dealership to working in the oil field. He managed the local farmers co-op, helping it to survive some tough times, and while there he became aware of the rainfall index programs that AgDefense offers. Justin believes in crop insurance, and having seen first-hand how it works, and how it helps to manage cash flow issues in times of rainfall deficits.
Justin and his wife have three children. He and his wife are both Emergency Medical Technicians and Justin is a longtime member of his local volunteer fire department. He enjoys fishing and is pursuing his private pilot’s license.
