Shari is a native of Chattanooga, Oklahoma and a graduate of Oklahoma State University where she majored in Animal Science with an emphasis in Livestock Merchandising.

Shari began working in the insurance field in April 2015. She has previously worked as the director of communications for the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association, where she also served as editor of the association’s monthly magazine. She then worked for 13 years as a freelance graphic designer in the purebred cattle industry. She was then employed by EDJE Technologies, a livestock design company, as a member of the print design team as well as a salesperson for over seven years. 

Shari resides on her family’s ranch, Coyote Hills Ranch, in southwest Oklahoma, where they raise Limousin cattle. Shari is involved in several community organizations, including the Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association. She is an alumnus of the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Program and a member of the First Baptist Church West in Lawton. 

She firmly believes in giving back through endeavors that one has benefitted from. Thus, her desire to help farmers and ranchers make their way through the maze of programs available for their benefit.
